Obituary of Normand Mark Cormier

It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Normand Mark Cormier, announce his death on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

Born in Saint John on May 14, 1956, he was a son of Shirley (Rogers) and the late Normand J. Cormier. Normand was employed in construction and carpentry for many years, travelling across the United States. He enjoyed boating and motorcycles, and was well known as being a free spirit, enjoying life.

Normand is survived by his children; Tammera Cormier (Ed Hoyt) of Saint John, and Normand A. (Tina) of California, brothers; Roger, and Gerald, sister Lynn, granddaughter Alexandra “Ali” Cormier (Cory Brideau), great grandson Lincoln Brideau, niece Danielle Davis, as well as many extended family.

A private family funeral service will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed and can be viewed by visiting Normand’s memorial page on Kennebecasis’ website on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Interment to take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
