I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Jill Smyth. Jill was a wonderful lady and a great friend. We met through the KV quilting guild many years ago.
She was a beautiful quilter and I also admired her beautiful hand knit sweaters. A group of us ladies would get together every Friday morning at the Quilt Corner. It was a lot of fun and we learned to quilt with the best, being Jill Smyth.

So sorry to hear of Jill’s passing. I loved our little appliqué group! Learned lots from Jill and so enjoyed our group’s discussions.
Had an introduction to Thai food with Jill and Brendan at Suwanna’s.
Sincerely ,
Elizabeth and Gerry Higgins

I have many many happy memories of both Jill, and Brendan. They were very active members of the Kennebecasis Valley Quilting Guild and when Jill entered a quilt in our show, it was sure to be a ribbon winner. She was an amazing quilter and a good friend. Sincere condolences to the family.

It’s a beautiful life when you get to share a moment of grace with Mrs Smyth. Growing up watching her tend to her gorgeous garden and sternly reminding us to clean up the kitchen after making a lunch of pancakes. She was a steady presence that was both a comfort as well as a model mother that I looked up to. Equal parts loving and strong. It was fun as an adult to experience her as an equal, the laughter was a gift to cherish, especially the London lunch and shopping at Liberty for fabric! This will be a forever memory. My deepest condolences Mark, Nicola, Karen and family. Blessed that she, and you all touched my life ❤️

I will hold close to my heart all the memories I have of you. I'm so happy you got to meet and get to know your great grand daughter London. I'm so thankful you were able to make her one of your famous quilts as well. You are now at peace and with Grampy. Love you!

I was so sorry to hear of Jill's passing. Brendan and Jill were two of our favorite people. Her work was outstanding and the K.V. Quilting Guild was fortunate to have had her as a member. I cherish the beautiful wallhanging of chickadees Jill made for Perry's and my 50th Wedding anniversary. It hangs in my entrance and is admired by everyone who comes in. My condolences go to her family whom she loved so much.........Marilyn Craft
