Obituary of Edmund Thomas Collier
It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Edmund “Junior” Thomas Collier, husband of Janice Collier, of Rothesay, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 20, 1974, in Grand Falls, NL, he was the son of Rose (Coleman) and the late Edmund Collier. Junior was employed with Xerox for over 21 years. He loved being outside, he enjoyed ice fishing, gardening, and berry picking. In previous years he loved curling and playing softball. Junior’s favorite hobby was facetiming his great nieces and nephews, they looked forward to talking to “Uncle June” every day. He had a wonderful sense of humor and adored his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides the love of his life Janice, Junior is survived by his children; Logan and Morgan Collier of Rothesay, his mother Rose Collier of Milltown, NL, sister Geneva Kearley (Danny) of Milltown, NL, and their children; Danielle Hodder (Glen), and James Kearley (Sacha), sisters-in-law; Roxanne Priddle and her children; Victoria Collier (Cody Drover), Alex Collier, and Jackson Collier, Sandra Collier-Mitchell (Leonard) and her children; Joshua, Samantha, and William Mitchell, brother-in-law Billy, mother and father-in-law; Roseable and William Collier, great nieces and great nephews; Lucy, and Ben, Luke, Connor, and Jack, Adalynn, and Avery, as well as extended family and many friends.
Besides his father, Junior is predeceased by his brother Darrell.
In keeping with Junior’s wishes, there will be no visitation or formal funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Junior can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
