Celebration of Life
Obituary of Bonnie Lynn Court
It is with profound sorrow, the family of Bonnie L. Court of Quispamsis, announce her passing at her residence on Friday, January 20, 2023.
Born on February 2, 1954, Bonnie grew up Tide Head, NB, the daughter of the late Murray and Lillian Sturgeon. Bonnie was employed as a Home Support Worker for many years where she lovingly cared for many over the years. She had a strong faith and a good relationship with God. Bonnie loved her family and friends but especially adored her two beloved grandsons, who she was often knitting hats and scarves for.
Bonnie is survived by her children; Spencer of Fredericton and Angela of Rothesay,
grandsons; Robert and Michael, brothers; Laurie (Gwen) of Bathurst, and Murray (Peggy) of Tide Head, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
Besides her parents, Bonnie is predeceased by her brother Ed.
The word that best describes Bonnie is “Loyal”. Loyal to watching “Tribal Trails” every weekday at 2PM on Vision, Loyal to her favourite ball team, the Toronto Blue Jays and most of all loyal to her family and friends. Anyone who knew Bonnie well was blessed in abundance by her genuine interest in and kindness to them. One of Bonnie’s best loved phrases was “Honesty is the best policy.” Truth was of the utmost importance to her.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Kings Church, 332 Hampton Road, Quispamsis on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:30AM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119).
