Kodie your Mother would have been proud of your performance at her funeral today I was there as an attendee of mass but just lucky to be there for your Mother’s Funeral too. You blew me away by how you spoke so professionally I do not know how you did it but you did and I certainly could not have done it. You are admired and your employer is lucky to have you.
My condolences to you and your Dad.

What a devastating loss of such a vibrant and warm person. I knew Annette from her work at OPG, where she held a position in Security & Emergency Services. Always so friendly, quick to help and brought a lively vibe to the office. She will be missed by the friends she made while working there. My deepest condolences to her family and close friends. May she rest in peace.

For some moments in life there are just no words but my heartfelt thoughts are with the entire family, during this difficult time.
I'm just devastated to hear the news and can't quite believe it either - just so sad that another fabulous lady has gained her angel wings so soon.
Such happy memories of the times we spent together in the past, when I travelled across the atlantic - she just welcomed me as an unofficially adopted niece and I was grateful.
I know she is at peace now and watching over those closest to her with a smile and she will never be forgotten.
Sending this message with love and hugs - Joanne x (a lovely obituary that honors her so well) x

Dave, my sincere condolences on Annette's passing. She was a treasure. I was on the board of directors at CGA Ontario for many years and recall meeting you at one social event. Annette's love for you was obvious whenever she talked about you. She was so organized and ensured everything was done perfectly, always with a smile on her face or that great laugh. Kodie, when you first came into your mom's life, it was pure magic! She was absolutely radiant when she talked about you. To you and your fiancee, I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope that your memories of time together with your wife and mother will help provide comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Dave, Kodie and Meghan, it is with heartfelt sadness to hear of the passing of Annette, beautiful lady, friend and colleague. Her love of shopping with her sisters, resulted in the "fashionista" that she was, with her great sense for stye. But most of all she had an infectious personality, wittiness and understanding that stood out and shone amongst the rest. I will never forget the chats about our families and trying to solve the problems of the world. She was just so easy to talk to!
We were thrilled for her when we found out that she and Dave were moving East to be closer to you Kodie and Meghan. As much as we would like her to have stayed, we knew she had to follow her heart.
Annette you will forever remain in our hearts and we will always cherish the special Afternoon Tea we all shared at our SC office at OPG.
Dave, Kodie, Meghan and Family, stay strong and may all the beautiful memories you have gathered give you Comfort and Peace .

My dearest friend Annette, I’m at a complete loss of words right now. I think about the many conversations and laughs we’ve had (always with a cup of tea in hand of course), Although we hadn’t talked for a while, I have often thought about you, Dave and Kodie. As I type this, I think about your amazing fashion sense and how you always had great hair!
I’ll always cherish the wonderful memories we made, both at work (CGA Ontario) and personally. Gosh, how I wish that I could give you a big hug right now and hear your infectious laugh. Our deepest condolences to Kodie, Dave, Meghan and the rest of your family. Rest in peace my dear friend xoxo.

Precious Memories of our Very Dear and Special Cousin Annette ❤️❤️❤️
We are truly heartbroken you are no longer with us but you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
When you emigrated to Canada we always said we would come to your wedding (we were terrified of flying) but we came and loved being there on your Special Day marrying the love of your life Dave.
Then so so happy when Kodie came the light of your life (your boy). You were this beautiful, happy contented family.
When we had our second daughter we called her Hayley Annette after you - you were made up.
We have such precious memories of you Annette that will stay in our hearts forever.
When we were going through difficult times in our family you were there with your uplifting, loving, caring and funny messages. We will never forget that.
We have such precious memories of you that will stay in our hearts forever.
We adored you and will miss you always
Pat,Ian, Azelle, Ciaran and family, Hayley, Duncan & family. Rest in peace Beautiful Lady ❤️
Our love and thoughts to Dave, Kodie and Megan she adored you and hope your beautiful memories get you through this truly sad time. ❤️

Dave, Kodie, and Meghan, my thoughts are with you as we mourn the loss of Annette. I had the privilege of working with Annette at CGA Ontario. She had an infectiously upbeat personality and was a great colleague. She was simply the best! When my daughter would come to the office, she always looked forward to her visit with Annette. To this day, when she gets her nails done, she always asks for sparkles as she says, "so I can have nails like Annette". She will be missed.

So sad to hear the news of Annette’s passing. We spent 7 years at CGA working through some big changes. She kept us all upright and in-line.
I will always remember her music (Motown) blaring from her car as she pulled in or left the garage at the office - the hair, the fashion, the laugh and those Manchester United boys of hers.. that was Annette.
There are so many cherished memories filled with laughter.

To Annette's family, as you grieve her loss and celebrate her life, please know that the Mercer family will be doing the same.
Though our orbits had drifted apart over the last number of years, for what now seems like a brief moment in time, the memories of my friendship and time spent with Annette at CGA Ontario will stay with me forever. To me she was kind and supportive, and quick to offer praise or a kick in the pants. My relationship with Annette felt at times like that with a big sister or mother - and I could never pin down which - but that was ok, because I always felt, and knew, that regardless of which, Annette had my back no matter what.
Annette had an infectious smile and laugh and perhaps a certain Manchester charm, which made being around Annette a bright spot to any day. She will be missed.
To Annette's family, please accept the truly heartfelt condolences of the Mercer family for you loss.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.

Annette was one of a kind and a beautiful soul that we all loved. Kathy and I always felt so welcomed and close to Annette in everything she did for the association and for us individually. I had the pleasure of working close with her as I served on the board and all my chats ( usually daily) were warm, respectful and truly effective in getting the job done!!! She connected with everyone she met, in a personal and loving way that you couldn’t help but feel close to her. She made the work on the board fun and was an invaluable guide and friend. She was the rock of CGA Ontario.
We will dearly miss her loving smile, her pleasant accent and her impeccable wardrobe. She was a beautiful lady inside and out.
Our extreme condolences to Dave, Kody and Meghan, and the other close family members she leaves behind.
Annette, god bless you and may you Rest In Peace. We all loved you Annette.

Rob and I send our deepest condolences to all who knew, loved, and now hold her memories dear. I grew to know and love Annette while I was on CGA Ontario's Board of Directors. She never left a detail undone and all arrangements made for our dinners and accommodations were elegant and classy even if we did have to walk a bit:). The limo ride taking us to the TSX to open the market is a highlight for me. I can still see her beaming smile as we made our way through downtown Toronto. She had a wonderful sense of humour and sense of style. So many memories. Rest easy dear lady and know we were all better for knowing you. You made a difference.

I had the extreme pleasure of working with Annette at OPG and most of all being able to call her my friend. Annette was kind, thoughtful, beautiful, classy and a wonderful listener. She was always more concerned about everyone’s needs over her own. I am going to miss her witty sense of humour, her sassy personality and radiant smile. Even if it was for a short time I am so glad that she attained her dream of moving to New Brunswick to be near her son Kodie who she cherished. My deepest condolences to Dave, Kodie, Meghan and the rest of her family.

It was such a pleasure to know Annette as an OPG co-worker and a friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and the most impeccable style. When my daughter got married in 2016, it was Annette I went to for guidance on what my Mother of the Bride outfit should be, as she always looked amazing. A wonderful woman who loved her family and spoke of her love for them often. She will be sadly missed by all her knew her. My condolences to her family.

You should still be here, enjoying tea, listening to Niall Horan, talking boys, wedding plans, and whatever else I needed your advice on. Dearest Annette,
This verse sums up better than I could what you meant to so many.
Our lives go on without you, but nothing is the same. We have to hide our heartache when someone speaks your name. Sad are the hearts that love you, silent tears that fall. Living our hearts without you is the hardest part of all. You did so many things for us, your heart was kind and true. And when we needed to talk to someone we could always count on you. The special years will not return when we were all together. But with love within our hearts you will walk with us forever
I loved and admired you dearly. You made my world a better place and I will hold our chats close to my heart. You not only taught me what it is to be a loyal friend and a fierce woman but how to be a rock star.
My deepest condolences to those you loved the most David, Kodie and Meghan.

I (Denis) had the immense pleasure of working with Annette during her OPG years. Her common sense… matched equally by her love for nonsense… and unique perspectives were such key ingredients in our team’s chemistry. She was a keen observer, a loyal friend, and not at all above telling someone (myself, quite often) to get their head out of their backside. She would always tackle new challenges, consistently taking on way more than her own work.
She’d speak often of David and Kodie, her sisters, and other family members, all of whom she so clearly treasured. Her warmth and humour had a way of brightening up the hardest day.
My deepest condolences to your family, Annette. Lisa and I hope Donny was waiting for you on the other side.
