Obituary of Kathryn Honora Thomson
Kathryn Honora (Sanson) Thomson, of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, March 30th. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, Kathryn was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Gloria (Ferguson) Sanson. Left to mourn are her husband, Jeff, her children, Arthur (Ivy), Kenneth (Kelly), and Koren (Cletus), five beautiful and cherished granddaughters, siblings, especially her sister and best friend, Margaret Sanson, and a large extended family.
Kathryn dedicated her life to her family. She spent nearly half her 40 years of married life with her husband on long term foreign assignments to Argentina, Romania (twice) and China. She raised her children with unconditional love, supported them in whatever endeavors they pursued, and taught them to value family above all else.
Kathryn had great faith and was a true believer in the afterlife. Her family knows that she is now in a better place with her beloved mother.
Visiting will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) on Monday, April 3, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.
