Obituary of Teresa Lillian Murray
With great sadness, we announce that Teresa Lillian Murray, widow of Arthur (Bud) Murray, passed away at Ridgewood Veterans Wing on Monday, June 5, 2023.
Teresa was born in Bathurst on August 11, 1935, the daughter of the late Daniel and Victoria (Legacy) Cripps.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Suzanne (Smith) Murray of Saint John, sister Mary McBreen of Bournemouth, England, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and only child, son Danny, she was predeceased by sisters and brother-in-law Margaret Rioux (Paul) and Eleanor Cripps, brothers and sisters-in-law Patrick (Shelva), Thomas (Betty), John (Joan) and Bill Cripps.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgewood for their care and compassion while Teresa was in their care.
In keeping with Teresa’s wishes, there will be no visitation. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Rothesay, from where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 10AM. Interment to take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119).
