Obituary of John Godfray Aubin
It is with profound sadness, that the family of John “Buzz” Aubin, announces his passing. John passed away peacefully following a brief illness, on June 14, 2023. He was born to Alfred Aubin and Laura (LeGrand) Aubin on October 15, 1946.
He grew up in St. Stephen, N.B. and following graduation, moved to Saint John, N.B. John worked in Sales for many years and following retirement, he spent his time fishing, gardening, tinkering in the garage and reading. He was also a proud member of the Quispamsis Island View Lions Club and volunteered his time as a member of “The men of St. Marks” parish.
Above all, John was a devoted husband, father, brother and “Papa” to his granddaughter Molly.
John was predeceased by his parents, Alfred Aubin and Laura (LeGrand) Aubin.
He is survived by his wife Norma; his daughters Kathy (Dean) Aubin- Martin and Karen (Jason) Aubin; sister Diane (Sander) Drover; and granddaughter Molly Martin, the light of his life.
In keeping with Buzz’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11AM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.kennebecasisfh.com
