Obituary of James Robert Stevens
It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of James Robert “Bob” Stevens, of Quispamsis, announce his passing on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born on February 2, 1946, in Hillsborough, NB, he was a son of the late Harry and Jean (Soper) Stevens. Bob worked in many different trades over his career, from construction, mechanic, and HVAC.
Bob is survived by his sons; Troy (Tera), Keith (Lori), Andy (Stacey) all of Alberta, and James (Megan) of Rothesay, ten grandchildren, his former spouse Nicole, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Besides his parents, Bob is predeceased by his sisters; Laura, Eleanor, Marian, Kaye, and Hazel.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place at KV Billiards (98 Market Street, Quispamsis) on July 15 from 2pm-5pm. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506-849-2119).
