So sorry to hear of Jann’s passing. I grew up with Jann, happy all the time, always laughing and talked a lot. You could just tell she was going to be a good caring person. It was very thoughtful of her to pay her condolences recently at my dad’s funeral. It was good to see her and talk about the good ol days. She’ll always be the little girl by the covered bridge to me. Rest in peace.

I first met Jann many years ago when the Red Cross sent me out to the homestead to give Dill a hand in the mornings wrangling the crew for school. Jann and the twins would lock themselves upstairs until after the school bus passed by, then happily come down, thinking they had fooled us all again, only to have me ruin their "day off" plans and drive them in to school. I always laughed and told Dill that Janice was full of sass and piss and vinegar but at the same time oh so loveable. That smile, that twinkle in her eye, that laugh. She literally sparkled when our paths would cross and she'd talk about her "love" Randy, her girls and boys and finally, those longed for grandbabies. She commented on a photo I had taken and posted on facebook of 3 blue jays sitting in my lilac bush, saying it reminded her of her Mum, Dad and Rodney and so I printed off 5 copies so she and her siblings would always have them near. Take comfort in knowing she is reunited with them again and every night Jann will be the brightest star, out sparkling all the rest. Hugs to everyone, Sally

what more can be said about Janice (Jann). She loved her family so deeply, you dare not say anything to the contrary or then you would hear her wrath. Her girls were the apple of her eye and then along came the boys, that Janice accepted and treated as her own. Nothing and nobody could compare to her brothers and sisters. But then along came those grandbabies and she was over the moon. Randy you were her heart and soulmate. Over the last few years we did not personally see each other often but when we did you could bet there was an update on everyone. And of course lots of laughs. Always loved to stop by the "homestead" when the family got together, great music, singing and stories. Janice was larger than life itself and taken much too early. To her family, fill her absence with all of your memories, pictures and videos. Love and hugs to you all

To all of Janns family I was very sad to hear of her passing. I remember her from our days of travelling on the school bus. I remember talking to her at SNB one time about how she couldn't wait for the grandchildren to start coming. I told her it will happen in due time. She was so ecstatic when they finally did. She most definitely was a people person. She always had a smile and a friendly hello for everyone. She will be deeply missed. We got to be "sisters" for a while & have quite a few great memories of Jan's humor and love! One that always comes to mind is "battle of the bands" the year her mom passed away - we were in the basement at my childhood home "singing" along and calling in our votes - fun on a rotary phone! Tina Turner: Private Dancer won haha. Wow Janice loved to sing & dance; so glad to have known her.
