Celebration of Life
Obituary of Brenda Lee Loughery
Brenda came into this world on February 3, 1964 in Saint John to parents Joyce (Black) & Doug Loughery. She began her journey home surrounded by the love of family and many friends on Sept. 1, 2023.
With an artists’ heart she combined her love of nurturing children and creating beautiful things through crafts, painting and decorating. For Brenda, time in nature brought joy and peace as she walked the shores of the Bay of Fundy, hiking through woods and enjoying happy swims or quiet bonfires on her beach by the Kennebecasis River.
Her Christian faith was a daily walk for Brenda and her caring ways were evident in her interactions with her many friends, the elderly or strangers alike. When you see a Daisy or hear an old Jazzy song, think of Brenda and hold her close in your heart.
Brenda is survived by her sons, Simon (Tori) and Adam (Kaysie) grandchildren Shayne & Gage; her Mom, Joyce; siblings: Cathy (Wayne) Love, Bruce (Marsha) and Richard (Catherine); many wonderful nieces, nephews and caring friends. She was predeceased by her father, Doug and her oldest brother Wendell.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Brenda's life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 1 PM, 2023, from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel, with a reception to follow. Donations in memory of Brenda can be made to Bobby's Hospice.
