My Uncle Billy will always be in my memories as a Great Uncle . i visited Billy & my Aunt Nancy in the late 1990's along with my dad John Kirk ( billy's brother ), at his home in Quispamsis. i had to see where my dad grew up along with Billy near the bay of fundy, and hear stories of early Saint John, New Brunswick , also the Irving Oil Company. i always loved billy's attitude , generosity and love that spilled out of him ,
Rest in Peace Uncle Billy, you are now together with your best friend Nancy

Bill and I had a special relationship, we enjoyed each other and some conversations about Saint John’s history for which he was a wealth of information. I will miss his “Oh Hi Pat” when I walked in to visit him.

Billy was my brother-in-law, but he treated me like a real sister, and I loved him like my real brothers.
He could always make you laugh.
When needed you could always count on him.
You are with God, Nancy and your brother John now.
Rest in peace.
Milly Kirk

Uncle Billy was a great guy, I always enjoyed my talks with him, he was a wealth of knowledge especially with NB history, and of course, the Kirk family tree. So glad my daughters and I had an opportunity to spend some time with him back in the spring of 2022. His brother John, my father in photo below, had a great relationship with Billy and Nancy, they had frequent trips to Florida together, I take comfort knowing they are now together again RIP Uncle Billy, you will be missed Lots of love, Mike Leanne Riley Gillian and Kelly

While I am saddened at the sudden loss of Uncle Bill, I am comforted by the fact that he is with his beloved Nancy - his wife of over 50 years. I will miss our nightly phone calls and discussions about the history of Saint John and many of its old buildings. He was such a lover of history and a massive reader. Rest in peace dear Bill! Love Kim Hunter and Peter Bardsley
