Obituary of Rose Elaine Jardine
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rose Elaine Jardine, announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Quispamsis, NB, surrounded by the love of her family. Rose was born on June 2, 1942, in St. Stephen, NB, and was the daughter of the late Ervin and Edna (Bailey) Sharpe.
Rose is going to be remembered as a vibrant and caring woman. She was someone who loved to make friends and could make friends anywhere she went. She had a welcoming demeanor that made it easy for people to talk to her. She was a devoted Christian and dedicated member of Quispamsis United Church. Rose and her late husband, Frederick, were married for over 40 years and were high school sweethearts. When it came time to raise a family, Rose was all in. She loved being a mother and was a dedicated mom to not only her own children but to their friends as well. Rose was a smart woman who loved to learn and experience new things in life. She was incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved watching her family grow. She spent her working years working as a sales associate with Crescent Jewelers as well as selling makeup and fashion accessories- when she had the opportunity to do bridal makeup she was truly in her creative element. Rose had a soft voice but could command any room. She loved traveling in her later years, experiencing many adventures with her family and friends. When you see something beautiful sparkle, please remember Rose.
She is survived by her sons James (Barbara) Jardine of Garnett Settlement, Robert (Dana) Jardine of BC; daughter, Nancy Jardine of Quispamsis; brother, Gary Sharpe of St. Stephen; sisters, Marilyn (Bob) Kern of Sarasota, FL, Lois (David) Moffatt of Sanford, ME, and Sherry Prime of Alfred, ME; sister-in-law, Barbara Jardine of Ottawa; grandchildren: Frederick, Alex, Andrew, Michael, Kane and Caleb; great-grandchildren: Roczen, Axel, Remi Rose, Maddy, Jasmine, Daxton and Ivy Grace; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Rose was predeceased by her parents, her husband Frederick; brother-in-law, Jock Jardine and her son, Stephen Jardine.
Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Rd. Quispamsis, (506-849-2119). A funeral service will be held from Quispamsis United Church, 372 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with visiting from 12:00-1:00 PM before the service.
