Obituary of Marie Isabelle Melles
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Marie Isabelle Melles, wife of the late Ernest Melles which occurred on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Kingsway Care Centre. Born on February 20, 1931 at Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Isabelle (Crilley) Roberts. Survived by her daughter Terry (David Chase)of Rothesay, sons; Stephen (Linda) of Saint John, Bob (Jacki) of Hanwell, John of Saint John, grandchildren; Stacey Melles, Kim Hickey, Michael Jones, Tony Melles, Rylan Melles, Laura Melles, Jill Melles, eleven great grandchildren, sister; Eileen Furlong (David), and several nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her son Billy, great granddaughter Peyton, sister Betty Fournier, brother Billy Roberts. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Staff and Special Friends at Kingsway Care Centre for the exceptional care and friendship given to their Mom during the past 6 1/2 years. At Marie's request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Quispamsis, on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10AM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Kingsway Care Centre or to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). Online condolences may be made to www.kennebecasisfh.com
