Rev. Heather Card posted a condolence
Sunday, August 25, 2024
It was seven years ago when I last visited Carol and Harold to tell them that I was now a member of clergy . It was such a pleasant visit. I wanted to let them know that I would be forever grateful to them for their ministry to me . I was Heather Miller when I first came to Forest Hills Baptist Church in 1972. I have so many great memories of our time with their family. I was saved in the very first service when I heard Harold preach . When They went to Rothesay we joined them in the ministry of music . Three of my children were involved in Heather's wedding. Life happened and 8 years ago I was ordained as Rev. Heather Card in the CBAC . My heart goes out to Harold and the children. Our hope is in the Lord who now has Carol in His loving care .

So sorry to read of Aunt Carolyn ‘s passing. Everything other good friends have said about her is definitely the. Carolyn I knew and remember well. She had the most beautiful smile and litte laugh,.
Carolyn used to visit my family home during her summer break from High School. She was the age of my older sister Barbara but we all looked forward to her visits she was a beautiful soul both inward and out.
I had the honour of being her brides’ maid when they got married.
Sending our love and condolences to Harold and all her family plus many friends.
May God’s comfort and blessings sustain you as you try to move forward in your lives.

To the Family of Carol and Harold Braun:
May I send our sincere condolences from the family of Innis and Mary McCready, Our long memories go back in the early '70's when Carol and pastor Harold moved with their family to minister at the Rothesay Baptist church. We remember Carol, always cheerful, loving and patient, as a mother and the wife of the pastor. She has now won the victory when our blessed Savior called her home to Heaven....."I go to prepare a place for you ...John 14:2
May God's comfort and blessing,
Innis McCready

Dear Harold and Family,
I was sorry to read that Carol has passed away. Sad for each of you as I know your hearts hurt but remember she is now enjoying the glories of Heaven and with the Lord she loved and faithfully served. I first met you both after Jerry and I were married and we went to Gordon, in Mass. and I treasure memories as so many times over the years our paths crossed. The first thing I remember about Carol was her sweet smile. Treasure your precious memories - they are gifts from God. I know He will give you the strength you need for each day ahead - "until then". Praying for each of you
Love, Donna Myers Isaiah 43:1,2 and 41:10,13

We will always remember Carol's lovely smile. She was one of the first to greet me when I first started going to Cornerstone Baptist Church and also when my husband and I were married there. So sorry for your loss but heaven has gained a great soul.

Pastor Braun, Heather, Patti, Lori, Mark, and families...we have many fond memories of your wife/mom/grandmother, from old Rothesay Baptist days. Such a gracious lady whose legacy will live on in your lives. What a blessed promise we have, that we will be together one of these days, when we're called home to be with our Saviour. Until that day, you're all in our thoughts and prayers.

I have such wonderful memories of the Braun Family, back in the early 1960's. A young student pastor, on a field with three churches....3 busy little girls and Mrs. Braun, always with her beautiful smile and kind gentle manner. She was a lovely person.
Hugs,

Carol lived & testified of the saving grace of GOD, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast”,
Ephesians 2:8-10. She was a very special lady to me. Her spiritual guidance in my life over the years, was solid, & perfect for what I needed. Her input into my life is priceless. She was always available to listen to anyone who needed guidance. That is one special Godly lady.

Mr. and Mrs. Braun, together, were the two people who God used to start me on the road of Christian ministry. Mrs. Braun, with that endearing smile, was always there during those days in Berry Mills and then at Gordon College when I needed encourage in the days when God was changing the direction of my life from teaching school to being a youth leader, then to being a pastor in Baptist Churches for the rest of my life. I loved this special lady who was gave me Godly advice as I needed it.
