Obituary of Clarence Kenneth Steele
It is with mixed emotions that the family of Ken Steele announces his passing on the evening of Friday, October 11th, 2024. He passed surrounded by Family.
Ken was born September 29th, 1942 to Clarence Steele and Erma Steele(Tower) both deceased.
He is survived by his wife Paulette Steele (Haché), his son Shawn (Brenda), His daughter Reneé (Alec), grandson Nathan, His nieces/daughters Karen Rocca (James) and Michelle Renner and his sister-in-law Anne Renner (Haché). And lastly his faithful companion Ashe who was always up for bacon treats and a walk.
He is also survived by his sisters Joan Dalzell (David) and Susan Brennan (Ray), brothers Richard (Rita) and Jacky (Nancy), as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brother Bobby, sister Lynn and brother Donnie (Gerene).
In November 1968 Ken married his love Paulette, providing a counterbalance to his quiet demeanor.
He worked at Universal Sales Ltd. for 30 years where he met many good friends while providing them with Birthday Cakes and Turkeys.
Also he was an avid outdoorsman, loved walking, hunting and fishing. Which he passed on to his son and grandson.
Besides with his family and friends his happiest place was with his volunteer work. This is where he lived his faith.
He volunteered with the Scouts in the 70’s and 80’ as a scout leader and Assistant District Commissioner, as a councillor on the parish council for St. Marks church, A volunteer at the KV Food Basket for over 20 yrs, and as a member of the Knights of Columbus. For all his volunteer work he was recognized twice by the town Quispamsis. Ken helped a lot of people through his volunteer work and quiet acts that no one saw.
Dad loved to help and be of service to his Family, Friends and Community.

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119), with visiting on Thursday, October 17, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rothesay, on Friday October 18, 2024, at 11 AM. For those who wish, donations in memory of Ken, can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the KV Food Bank, would be appreciated.
