Obituary of Jocelyn Joseph Pelletier
It is with great sadness, the family announce the unexpected passing of Jocelyn “Josh” Joseph Pelletier, of Rothesay on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his residence.
Born on September 29, 1948, in Grand Falls, NB, he was a son of the late Levite and Irene (Bonnefant) Pelletier. Josh was a hard worker, repairing trucks and body work for over 20 years. He loved to keep busy, especially with his adored grandchildren. Josh enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, spending time with his coffee buddies at Tim Horton’s and with special friend Kay.
Josh is survived by his children; Tina Roch (Roger) of Quispamsis, and Tammy Doucette (Kelly Lyons) of Boiestown, NB, Daniel Michaud of Edmunston, NB, his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy; Justin, Benjamin, Jessica, Julia, Michel, Chantal, Frederic, great grandchildren; Seth, Maddox, Brooklynn, Cedar, and Walker, special friend Catherine “Kay” Tuneburg, former wife Linda (McQuade) Pelletier, several nieces and nephews, as well as extended family, and many friends, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, Josh is predeceased by his brothers Albert and Noel Pelletier.
In Keeping with Josh’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at St. Michel’s Cemetery in Drummond, NB on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM. For those who wish, donations in memory of Josh can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
