Obituary of Elizabeth Blair
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Blair on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Rocmaura Nursing Home.
Born in Rothesay, NB on June 29, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James and Jennie (Wright) Blair. Betty was an employed with Central Equipment for several years, and a past President of the Woman's Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #58.
Betty is survived by her sons; Fred Blair of Quispamsis, and Beverly Beyea (Peggy), daughter Darlene Scribner of Quispamsis, sister Lois Graham of Kanata, ON, brothers; William Blair (Glenna) of Ottawa, ON, and Winston Blair (Linda) of Rothesay, grandchildren; Joel Johnston (Amanda), Adam Johnston (Heather), Gary Johnston (Samantha), Matthew Blair (Sarah), Stephanie Meunier (Paul), Michael Beyea, Jason Beyea, Barry MacMillan, Karl MacMillan, and Carey MacMillan, eight great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased by Murray Beyea, Fred Harper, and Shenton Scribner, her sister Jean Fairweather, and daughter Barb McMillan.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to SPCA- Animal Rescue League or to a charity of the donor's choice.
