I knew Bob as a teenager when I played hockey for him for two years in Bantam AAA ('94-'95). The guys who played for him then still talk about those years as being our favourite years playing hockey. It has been nearly 25 years and we still take pride in what we accomplished as a team. He gave us a ton of his time during those years. (along with Bobby Holder and Rick Shore) We spent a lot of time on the road but he always had a sense of humour about it. He treated us like young men and taught us to stick together no matter what. We didn't win every game but he taught us to always work our hardest. When I got older I realized that lesson was about more than the game of hockey. I'm truly grateful for having known Bob as a young person and I wish his family all the best during this difficult time. Sincerely, Jarod Parlee London, ON
