Obituary of Gary Allan Drummond
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Gary Allan Drummond of Baxter's Corner, loving husband of Julie Drummond, announce his untimely passing at Bobby's Hospice on July 19, 2018. Born in Upperton, NB on September 23, 1953 he was a son of Laura (Teakles) Drummond of Saint John, NB and the late Gordon Drummond.
Prior to retirement, Gary was a part of United Steelworkers Union and past member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America Local 1386. Gary was an amazing carpenter and was an experienced heavy equipment operator for Debly Enterprise.
Gary was a member of the Hampton Genealogy Society and loved doing research. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially being on his tractor. He especially loved being a Grampy to Miss Hadley.
In addition to his wife of 38 years and his mother, Gary will be deeply missed by his children: Andrew (Claire) Drummond, of Petawawa, ON; Stephanie Drummond (James Brown), of Millidgeville; Vanessa Drummond (Bobby LeBlanc), of Grand Bay-Westfield; and Kelsey Drummond, of Baxter's Corner; sisters, Judy Drummond (James McAuley), of Saint John; and Marlene (Stephen) Moffett of Penobsquis; granddaughter Hadley Brown; grandsons: Bobby Gray, Brenden Donaldson, and Aiden Gray. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brothers, Douglas and Dale Drummond.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visitation on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
