I remember going with my father Gene Sullivan to have a medical at Mr. Guidry's office uptown. My brother Greg and I were 11 and 12 years old respectively and quite impressed that we were treated so well. Mr. Guidry was a true gentleman who was kind and friendly as we went through the process. This gentleman became our friend and from that time on called us by name and had a chat whenever we met. He was a good friend of our father but I always think of him as a friend of mine who looked after our affairs well until he retired. May he rest in peace!
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I only met Burton once at my aunt Lills funeral but grew up hearing about my fathers side of the family. I am sorry I didn,t take you up on meeting your father. No matter the age it is hard to lose our father. My heart goes out to you and your family
