Obituary of Carl Herman Shipticki
It is with heavy hearts the family of Carl Herman Shipticki, of Quispamsis, husband of the late Marion Shipticki, announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2019. Born in Yellow Creek, Sask. on September 8, 1929, he was a son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Dlugusz) Shipticki.
Carl is survived by his children: Yvonne (Charlie) LeBlanc, Eric (Annette) Shipticki, Vivian (Paul) Ewart, Darlene Shipticki (Stephen Brault) Janet (Paul) Bailey, June (Brian) Stewart and Lorna (Gary) Williams; siblings, Joseph Shipticki and Mary Basnicki; grandchildren: Adam and Marcia LeBlanc, Cory and Paula Ewart, Ashley and Zach Stewart, Jason and Elizabeth Williams, Danielle Hay, Kevin Powers Jr., Geneviéve and Marc-Anthony Marquis, Christopher and Brandon Shipticki; and great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Armstrong, Peyton Ewart, Cohen and Katelyn LeBlanc, and Landon Shipticki.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Ludwick "Lloyd" Shipticki.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visitation on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, on Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Carl may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
