Obituary of Barbara Ann Gray
Gray, Barbara Ann;
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Barbara A. (Morris) Gray. Wife of the late Ronald Gray, deceased November 11, 2010. After a courageous three and a half year battle with cancer. Barbara passed away peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2012, at her home. She was born July 13, 1945 in Saint John, New Brunswick and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Henry) Morris.
She was a graduate of St. Vincent’s Girls High School and was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Quispamsis. Barbara was employed for 30 years at the Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited.
Barbara is survived by her sister Joan (Reed) MacDonald and brother Gerald (Barb) Morris; sisters in law Brenda (Eddy) Gaynes, Joan (John) Cameron, Linda (Marc) Cartwright, Sharon Gray and brothers in law Robert (Darlene) Gray, Wayne Gray, David Gray and Gary Gray. She will be fondly remembered by her Godchildren Karen Deroche, Donna Sheehan, Brad LeBlanc, Jenn Foley and Sarah Mary Gould, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Survived by special niece Lindsay (Neil) Gould and precious great nieces Hannah, Sarah Mary and Emma, special nephew Brad LeBlanc (Ashley Veldhuizen), Chanel and Jayden.
Family and friends will be received at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119 on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm, with Vigil Prayers at 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Marks Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 10am, followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Saint John.
A very special thank you to Extra Mural and the wonderful caregivers who made it possible for Barbara to remain in her own home during her final days.
