Obituary of Greta Corinne Clark
Greta Corinne Clark of Rothesay, wife of Kenneth W. Clark, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 12, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Lower Queensbury, York County on July 3, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Clarence S. and I. Kathleen “Kay” (Kelly) Jordan. Greta was a Registered Nurse, who worked in Toronto for the first five years of her marriage, and subsequently moved to Saint John where she nursed at the Saint John General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital, as well as part time at area nursing homes. In her spare time, Greta enjoyed nature, especially bird watching, knitting, hooking rugs, travelling and vegetable gardening.
In addition to her husband, Greta is survived by her children, David Clark (Anne) of Saint John, Linda Fitzgerald of Orleans, Ontario, and Paul Clark (Dianne) of Saint John; grandchildren Madeleine, Tierney, Meghan, Bridget, Patrick, Kaitlyn, and Jonathan; a brother, Melvin Jordan of Lower Queensbury; a sister, Phyllis Allen of Fredericton and two nieces, Susan and Sandra.
Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119).
