Obituary of Allan Bruce Cosman
The death of Allan Cosman of Summerville, husband of Deanna (Titus) Cosman occurred peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Saint John in October 1942, he was the son of the late Ralph and Lottie (Noakes) Cosman.
Allan loved to work and never completely retired from operating his contracting and excavating business. He also loved and was skilled at repairing machinery and vehicles. Allan enjoyed nature and always took great comfort in the beauty of his surroundings. He often enjoyed walks in the woods, hunting and lumbering in the winter. He will be sadly missed.
Loving husband of 49 years to Deanna; caring father to Lynn Bell (Wade) of Perth-Andover, Janet Burke (Stephen) of Saint John, Joanne Waddell (Stephen) of Clifton Royal, Mark and Keith (Tamara) all of Summerville; kind grandfather to Kevin and Eric Bell, Katlin and Jacqueline Waddell and Mitchell Burke; special brother to Colleen Audette of Saskatchewan, Faye Jenkins (Stephen) of Moncton, Lawrence (Ruth) of Saint John and Stephen (Mike) of Summerville. Also survived by aunt, Ida MacPherson (David) of Summerville; mother-in-law, Gladys Titus of Gorhams Bluff; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, with visitation of Monday, January 28, 2013 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held from Summerville United Church, 1891 Route 845, Summerville, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 2:30 PM. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
