Obituary of Virginia Irene Lambert
Virginia Lambert, wife of the late Victor Lambert, passed away on February 24, 2013, at Kings Way Care Centre. Born in Bloomfield on December 15, 1937, she was the youngest daughter of the late Minor and Hilda (Bethune) Bennett. In her earlier years, Virginia worked for Dominion Stores, but then left to take care of her mother. Virginia was an avid cat lover, and enjoyed living a quiet life. She is survived by her sisters Idina Bennett of Hampton, Aline Paulsen of Nova Scotia, brother-in-law Garfield Reynolds of Saint John, sister-in-law Margaret Bennett of Nauwigewauk, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Virginia was predeceased by her brother Sandy, and her sister, Lina. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Kings Way Care Centre for their excellent care of Virginia during her time with them. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Bloomfield in the spring.
