Obituary of Christopher Eric Lunnie
The passing of Chris Lunnie of Quispamsis, cherished boyfriend of Sandy Tomkos, occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at his home. Born in Saint John on August 18, 1976, he was the son of Eric Lunnie (Wellen Llego) of Lower Cambridge Narrows and Lorraine (Fullerton) Lunnie (Lorin LeBlanc) of South Branch.
Besides his girlfriend and parents, Chris is also survived by his children, Tristen and Emily, both of Quispamsis; brother, Cory (Amanda McIntyre) of PEI; half-sister, Erica Lunnie of Saint John and maternal grandmother, Cassie Fullerton of Fredericton.
Chris adored his family, especially his precious children who will always remember their dad as loving, dedicated and awesome. Tristen and Emily were his world. Chris enjoyed the outdoors and had many fond memories of snowmobiling, four-wheeling and times at the lake with those he loved. He was a great cook who always looked forward to a good barbeque and family get-together. He was known for his generous hosting skills and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In keeping with the family's wishes, no visitation will be held. However, relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service, which will be held at the chapel of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (849-2119), on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 2:00 PM and will be immediately followed by a reception.
For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB. Online donations and condolences may be made at: www.kennebecasisfh.com
