Obituary of Robert Charles Keirstead

The death of Robert C. Keirstead of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Marilyn (Wood) Keirstead, occurred on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton, on August 15, 1948, he was a son of the late Charlie and Marjorie (Lutes) Keirstead. Robert was employed as an Electrical Engineer for several years with the Oil Refinery. He was a member of the Kennebecasis Baptist Church and Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #213 Survived by his wife, Marilyn of Quispamsis, step-daughters; Amy C. Cardinal (George) of Edmonton, AB, and Tamara R. Knox (James Brown) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, sisters; C. Ann Boucher of Aylmer, QC, Barbara Knowlton (Michael) of Moncton, NB, and Donna Hicks (Arnold) of Boundary Creek, NB, five grandchildren; Kyara, Elijah, Emily, Sierra, and Cade. In keeping with Robert's wishes, a Funeral Service will be held at Kennebecasis Baptist Church on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM, with visiting at 12:30 PM. Interment to take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119).
