Obituary of Arnold James Palin
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold James Palin, husband of Yvette (Letourneau) Palin on Saturday April 26, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Arnold died peacefully surrounded by his family.
Born on September 10, 1925 in Woodstock, NB, Arnold was the son of the late W.J. Henry and Hazel (Thompson) Palin. He was predeceased by his brother Franklin Palin (Cynthia).
Arnold was a veteran, serving his country between 1943 and 1946. He was a pioneer in the IT industry beginning his career in 1958. He had many interests including electronics and photography.
Besides his wife Yvette, he is survived by his daughters; Linda Grace (Maurice) and Lucille Srikissoon both of Quispamsis, sister Elizabeth Burlton (Dennis)of Halifax, NS, grandchildren; Jessica McMackin (Andrew), Stephanie Grace (Scott), and Justin Srikissoon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
In keeping with Arnold’s wishes there will be a private Funeral Service. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
