Obituary of William Thomas Howell

The death of William "Billy" Thomas Howell, husband of Rita (Williams) Howell, occurred on Thursday May 1, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on October 12, 1940 in Saint John, he was a son of the late William and Marion (Saunders) Howell. Bill was employed with CN Rail and Thorne's for several years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and playing cards. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons; Tom (Annette) of Fredericton, NB, Michael (Jennifer) of Saint John, and Eddie (Joyce) of Saint John, daughters; Tanya (John) of Nerepis, NB, and Shelly of Saint John, brother Ronnie (Carol) of Grafton, NB, sister Susan Veniot (Ralph) of Dartmouth, NS, seventeen grandchildren, two nephews, one niece and many cousins. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (848-2119) with visiting on Sunday from 6 - 8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place at Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
