Obituary of Joan Candace Renshaw
The death of Joan Candace Renshaw, wife of the late Allan H. Renshaw, occurred on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Penobsquis, NB on January 29, 1932, she was a daughter of the late G. Blair and Janet (Coulverwell) Colpitts.
Joan was a faithful member of St. James Anglican Church and St. Paul's Anglican Church for many years. She was devoted to her family.
Joan is survived by her sons; Blair (Eleanor) of St. Johns, NL, Kevin of Hammond River, NB, Dennis (Lori) of Vancouver, BC, Eric (Chris Hopgood) of Halifax, NS, Allan H. Jr. of Riverside, NB, daughters; Candace LeBlanc (Norman) of Nerepis, NB, Elizabeth Chisholm (Michael) of Saint John, Angela Walton (Michael) of Quispamsis, brother, Guy Colpitts (Winnifred) of Sussex, NB, sister, Gilliane McCulley of Halifax, NS, grandchildren; John Renshaw, Bradly and Geoffrey LeBlanc, Michael and Andrew Chisholm, Matthew and Thomas Walton, Amie Clarkson, and Charlie Renshaw, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Joan was predeceased by her son, Allan James Renshaw and her brothers; Everett and Garth Colpitts, sister, Joyce Keller, and grandson, Johnathan Renshaw.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Rothesay on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM. A private interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
