I just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you at this very difficult time and fondly remembering what an enthusiastic and caring lady Marilyn was. She was in her glory at family get togethers (of which there were many!)and always made others feel genuinely welcome even though we weren't actually members of the family. She always took an interest in our family and used these get togethers to get caught up on what was new with us whether it be about the kids or a trip down South. We hope you will all find comfort with your memories in the coming days, weeks and years. She will live on in your hearts forever...

Sending our thoughts and prayers to you at this difficult time. Your Mom was a special lady - so full of positive energy, and love for her family and friends. She was so proud of all of you - not only for what you have accomplished, but for the way you lived and put family first. Her values will live on through all of you. I will miss her at the local hockey games - there is no one that can even come close to her in enjoying the game, and telling the referees when they made a wrong call. Marilyn was truly a role model and inspiration for all of us. The way she quietly and courageously faced cancer was a testament to who she was - a woman of faith, a woman who loved life, and a woman who put her family first. She was an inspiration to everyone around her, and will be missed. Rest in peace Marilyn. Susan and Ted

My memories of Marilyn go back many years as we grew up near each other and both attended King Edward School and were in Girl Guides together. Shortly after Ken and I moved to Gondola Pt., Marilyn and Jack became neighbors of ours and our children are close in age. I remember many a hockey game when Greg and Brad would be playing and Marilyn's "enthusiasm" In past months if I saw her; I was very moved by her "attitude of gratitude" that is so needed by Cancer patients. You will be missed. "'Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal"' I know she has left her family great memories.

Dear Jack: Doreen and I were very saddened to hear of Marilyn's passing. She was so important to, and appreciated by, Father Brian while he was stationed at St. Marks. Whenever there was a problem, and then Marilyn would appear, you would know everything would be handled correctly . And this is without fail! There were many times, I am sure, the above would happen. The same type of work continued for Father Don Breen I am sure. Again our sincere condolences and prayers to both yourself and your entire family. We will miss her. Yours truly David Hansen Father Brian's Brother
