Obituary of M. Eileen Adair

It is with great sadness that the family of M. Eileen Adair, wife of Jack Adair, announces her death, which occurred on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 14, 1948 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late George and Irene (McPhee) Haynes. Eileen was employed for several years as a Child Care Provider. She was a member of the Fireside Circle, Morning Edition, and Rothesay Baptist Church, where she sang with the choir. Besides her husband, Jack, she is survived by her children, John Adair of Saint John, and Loree McGrath (Brian Short) of Saint John, brothers, Michael Haynes (Nicole), Roland Haynes (Patricia), and Eddie Haynes, sisters, Doreen Brooks and Frances Sharkey (Loue), grandchildren, Katelyne Adair, Lucas McDermott, Robert McDermott, Sarah Short, Joey Short, Darla Adair, and Courtney Adair, as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Rothesay Baptist Church on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place at Rothesay Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
