Obituary
Obituary of David George Wilbur
After a long battle with liver disease, David "Dave" George Wilbur passed away peacefully on December 9, 2014, surrounded by his family. Our family is forever grateful for the gift of life that he received 14.5 years ago. His liver transplant allowed him to have a second chance at life.
Dave loved his family and friends and always had a good story to tell. He was an avid Harley enthusiast and loved to have a good time with lots of laughs.
The loves of his life included, his wife Trudy of 32 years, his son Adam, his daughter Kayley and her husband Trevor. His newest found love was his Granddaughter Chelsea. He also loved his constant companion and best buddy Quinn, who followed him wherever he went.
He worked at Enbridge Gas Distribution for his entire career until his retirement at age 55.
A celebration of his life will take place on Friday December 12, 2014 at KV Billiards in Quispamsis, NB from 5pm until 10pm. Please drop by to visit with the family and share your stories and loving memories. A celebration will also follow in Ontario, details to come.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Loved by many, missed by all. Forever in our hearts.
