So sorry to hear Marleen has departed although I'm sure she will be better where she is now, she will definitely be missed.
Kindhearted, patient and caring, just a beautiful spirit. When you looked in her eyes you could see her loving heart caring for you.
One day we will all be with you and you will be there to receive us with open arms RUNNING toward us, not in the wheelchair.
Sincerely Andre Emond xx OO

Thinking of the Vaillancourt family during this time of grief. Marlene was a strong minded French women with a great sense of humor. She was well respected by everyone that knew her. She always made me feel welcomed; even when I came to take Gaetan away for a round of golf. She was a "hoot" to be around and if you knew Marlene you would understand the hoot reference as she had a love for owls. Marlene will be greatly missed and often thought of as she was an inspiration to many. I've personally known the Vallaincourt family for 30 years and considered them very close friends. Marlene did not let her disabilities control her life, she lived, loved and laughed. She was truly a remarkable women and may she find peace now that the lord has called her home.

Our most sincere sympathy. What a strong, courageous and loving woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend! Her direct, thoughtful nature and sense of humour were cherished. Just thinking of Marlene makes my heart smile. We shared many very fond memories and a lasting bond of friendship despite the distance created by provinces between us. Huge Hugs Gaetan, Katrina, Leah and those precious little ones. I will never forget her telling me the next day about the dance where she met you Gaetan! xo Your Mom was very proud of you girls and loved you all so very much.
