We miss you dearly Grandma. I'll never forget the last time we saw you - the first time you met Lynn and your grandson Jeff. Seeing you and Grandpa play with the baby told me so much about who you were, and it will always be a treasured memory for us.

Missing you already Grandma. There are so many little memories I hold close to my heart: shopping with you at the market, eating coconut truffles in your kitchen, and even just chatting with you on the couch. You were gentle, kind, and generous. I was so touched when you sent me your percolator shortly after I commented on how beautiful it was. Years later, Chris and I still use it often (pretty much daily) and think of you when we do. It makes a really lovely cup of coffee.
I always smile thinking back on Grandpa’s birthday party, his 80th I think, – you opened the birthday card that played snoring noises as soon as Grandpa started to tell a story.
Rest well now. Love you lots,
Jackie Oliver

You will always be loved and remembered by our family, as a Mother, Grandmother, and Mother-In-Law. You were kind, loving, and sensitive to us and remained involved with our family for a lifetime We may have lived provinces apart, but we were close in what was going on in our lives.
We will miss your written words in letters and cards that never forgot our families special occasions, and your soft spoken voice on the telephone. You bravely came to visit us in towns where the blackfly population outnumbered the humans ten thousand to one (and they were all hungry). In particular, we fondly remember you taking on the role of team captain – “Captain Tina” – at Bob’s surprise 50th birthday party one summer. Amidst the noisy nonsense of flying water balloons and rogue croquet balls, your team spirit, enthusiasm, and laughter touched our hearts.
Lots of love and good memories when we think of you.

Many fine memories of a wonderful Aunt whose hospitality was legendary and whose kindness was manifold. Determined yet full of fun, soft spoken yet ready for a laugh. Her gentleness was not to be seen as weakness, nor her goodness a mere façade. Rather, both of these qualities were spiritual ones stemming from a rock solid certainty deep in her spirit: that when she prayed, God heard her; that when there was trouble, He had the answer and the strength to overcome. She was indefatigable and buoyant. And all of us youngsters loved her.
She was a perfect match for Jim Duffley over all those years. If Uncle Jim was her anchor, then she was his rudder and sail. The two were inseparable, and will now be so forever. Blessings upon their memories, and much love and comfort I wish for the families. Phillip Harriott, Prague, the Czech Republic

Rita, you are already missed. I often think of the times we had girl to girl talk and helped me through my fickled teen years. It was advice given by a friend, not a parent.
Oh , I wanted to thank you for my first and only stuffed toy..... Rudolph.
I want you to rest now, your journey is over.
Love you, big sister!

Missing you already. The many times sitting on the back porch in the sun laughing and talking “sister talk”. Remembering the Apple Pie Caper. Did you ever figure out who ate the pie? You were always ready to listen and help; crossing the field to come help me when I was stumped on a math problem. I really enjoyed being flower girl at your wedding. The dress you made me was so beautiful. Rita, I loved your purses and how you let me, your baby sister, dig in your purse especially the green leather one. Thank you for the times you prayed with me and for my family. See you in eternity. Rest in Him.
Love

Going to miss you Aunt Rita! I cherish our chats and times around the kitchen table. You were amazing! How you tolerated all us cousins crossing the field from Granny and Grampy Buckley and landing on your doorstep every weekend and holiday. Peace for eternity. You earned every minute.
