Shirl, so very sorry to read of Bob's passing. A true cherished church friend of mine. I will cherish the times that Bob and I would chat and laugh prior to church starting. He always tried to make me feel welcome as a King's church member. I hope you know that Bob will always be with you in spirit, and that he loved you very much. John and I were so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I have known both Bob and Shirl my entire life and there is no way I can even consider one without the other. They are like salt and pepper, jam and peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, Bonnie and Clyde. My family and the Robertson's were always entrenched in each other's lives, whether we were a few kilometres apart or continents divided us. No matter what, I will continue to carry Bob and Shirl as one in my heart, right next to my own mom and dad. Shirl, you have wonderful and funny memories to remember when the times are tough, and you've got this because Bob would expect no less. Take Care.

My sincerest sympathies to you and the family,Shirl. I remember Bob telling us about beating the drum in the military band at the York Arena in Fredericton and he beat it so hard he broke the skin on the drum
