Obituary of Darrell George Tschirhart

Tschirhart, Darrell George - Son of George and Anetta (née O’Reilly), born March 9th, 1948 in Walkerton, ON, died peacefully at home in Renforth, NB in the early hours of Monday August 19th, 2013. Survived by his loving rock of a wife Lee Jolliffe, sons Aaron and Christian, daughter Naomi, son-in-law Channarong Intahchomphoo and beloved grandson Ravee. As an avid traveler and Air Canada employee, Darrell discovered that the joy of the journey came not from new places but from meeting new people. Love, compassion, and concern for others shaped his life. A secular Franciscan, spirituality was at his core; living with Christ, he also held dear his connections to friends of other faiths. Throughout a 12 year dance with lymphoma, Darrell remained an example of determination, positivity and possibility. Many thanks to Dr. Burnell and staff (SJRH). Funeral at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB, Friday August 23rd at 10am. Donations to Romero House, Saint John or random acts of kindness are greatly appreciated.
